District
Court Judge, Family Division,
|
I have been an attorney in Las Vegas since 1983, and for more than 9 years I have served our community as an alternate judicial officer. Last year alone, I spent more than 44% of my work time actually in court hearing and deciding cases, with more than 90% of that time in Family Court.
I am the only candidate for Department Q that has heard and decided cases in Family Court involving domestic violence/temporary protective orders, child support, temporary child custody and visitation, temporary spousal support, drug court, dependency (abuse and negelct of children), juvenile delinquency, truancy and mental health.
My talents, extensive experience, integrity, knowledge, temperament and attitude clearly show that I am the best candidate for Family Court Judge in Department Q.
It is my sincere desire to serve our community as the full-time judge in Department Q of Family Court, and I respectfully request your vote in both the primary and general elections this year.
This web site contains more information about me and my family, and I encourage you to read all of this information. Also, if you have any questions, please contact me by email at thomas@thomasgkurtz.com, or by telephone at 217-8699.

-- Fraternal Order of Police, Las Vegas Lodge 1.
-- Equal Rights For Divorced Fathers.
"Equal Rights For Divorced Fathers has endorsed Thomas G. Kurtz as its candidate for Eighth Judicial District Court Judge, Family Division, Department Q, because he has demonstrated that he has the personal integrity and character to do the job right. He can't be bought. We won't have to worry about dishonesty, or favoritism or unfair judgments or lack of respect in the courtroom. I have observed his conduct in court as both an attorney and as a judge. He certainly knows the law, and he knows he is a public servant there to apply it - not royalty free to ignore it - as some others do." - Ernest del Casal, Jr., Director
